Questions, answered

Before you apply

Do I need to be a therapist or mental health professional?+

No. This is a mental health education and advocacy instructor pathway—not clinical training. You should have a heart for helping others, a willingness to learn, and the ability to lead responsibly.

What happens after I apply?+

GHU will review your application and contact selected applicants with next steps. Applications are reviewed before admission into the founding instructor class.

Can I split the $500 investment into payments?+

Yes. Eligible applicants may use Afterpay, Klarna, or Zip to divide the investment into smaller payments, subject to the provider’s approval and terms.

Does this qualify me to provide therapy or clinical services?+

No. The certification prepares instructors to teach mental health awareness and allyship skills. It does not provide a clinical license or authorize diagnosis, treatment, or therapy.
